2018 Age Breakdowns

Age is determined by birthday on or before January 1 in the year of the summer season.  Birth Certificates are required for all traveling programs.

Lil Packers League - Kindergarten to Grade 2 (ages 4 - 7)

Traveling 10U – 10 and under (Born 2006 and 2007)                     

Traveling 12U – 12 and under (Born 2005 and 2006) 

Traveling 14U – 14 and under (Born 2003 and 2004)

Traveling 16U – 16 and under (Born 2001 and 2002)

Fall Ball Only:   Depending on registration numbers, if player ages up to an older team the following year; it is recommended they play up an age bracket.  If you are moved up to fill out a roster during fall ball, you will still be required to tryout in the spring and there is no guarantee you will be moved up in the spring.

2018 Registration Fees:

Winter Clinics: 

$30 - Winter Clinic - Lil Packers (ages 4-7)

$40 - Winter Clinic - Traveling Teams (8u-16u)

Registration deadline for Summer Traveling Teams:  Feb, 25, 2018

$100 - 8U Summer Mini Traveling Team

$200 - 10U Summer Traveling Teams

$300 - 12U/14U/16U Summer Traveling Teams

- Evaluations are required for 8u-16u traveling teams.

- A $300 Volunteer Check is required for all traveling players; see Volunteering tab for more information.

- There is a $30 late fee for any player who registers after Feb 28, 2018.

- There is a $30 fee for any player who is outside our draw area.

Draw Area Explained

 

The draw area for SSPGFA includes any youth girl who is a resident of South St Paul or attends school at one of the public or private schools in South St Paul. 

• 8U, 10U, & 12U Divisions are closed by league rules.  SSPGFA requires waivers from both associations if a player requests to play with another association outside their draw area.  

• 14U & 16U Divisions are open by league rules.  SSPGFA board shall decide after registration whether to accept outside players based on team numbers and/or tryouts.  

• In-House Division is not governed by the league and is therefore open.  SSPGFA board shall decide after registration whether to accept outside players based on team numbers and/or tryouts.
