2018 Volunteer Requirements

​​SSPGFA heavily relies on volunteers to run a cost-effective, efficient, and competitive association for our players.

​

2016 Requirements:

Traveling Families:

  • 16 hours total running Jan 1 to Oct 31.

  • 4 hours must be at a Kaposia Days Event

  • 4 hours must be during our Border Buddies Tournament

  • 4 hours must be during our weeknight concessions

  • 4 remaining hours at any other event or event previously listed

  • These requirements are per family, not per player

  • Prior board approval is required for waiving Kaposia Days requirement.  Participation in Tri-County tournament or Kaposia Days events are not a valid waiver excuse.

  • Shifts cancelled due to rainout will need to be completed at another time.

 

In-House families:

In-House families are not required to volunteer, however, it is greatly appreciated.  

 

Volunteer Fee: $300

A $300 check is required at registration which will be held and NOT cashed unless volunteer hours are not fully met.  If you did not meet the required hours you will be notified three weeks prior to the posting of the check.

Parents will receive emails with links for signups to volunteer opportunities.
